Position Information
The Business Associate I, under general supervision, provides support for business activities.
Responsibilities
Ensures compliance with all provisions of AgriLife policies, state, and federal laws.
Completes training and becomes proficient in the use of Aggie Buy, Laserfiche, Famis, Concur, and IPayment.
Is responsible for vehicle log and check log.
Opens, sorts, routes, or files mail.
Receives all packages and maintain receiving log.
Answers telephone inquiries, routes calls and visitors to appropriate office personnel.
Maintains log and files for routine and emergency building maintenance call and fire alarm system.
Processes TAMU travel vouchers.
Generate purchase order numbers and pay invoices.
Investigates errors on transactions and recommends appropriate corrective action.
Responds to routine inquiries from vendors and other business units or departments.
Processes routine business documents.
Is responsible for copy room operations. Aids users as needed.
Assists on special projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience in general office operations.
Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software programs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Salary: Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications. This is an hourly paid position.
