About this role


  • Develop and execute commissioning plans, test procedures, and checklists for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Conduct pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing of equipment and systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document test results, prepare commissioning reports, and maintain accurate records for audit and handover purposes.
  • Support site teams during installation and testing phases, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support.
  • Identify and report potential risks, defects, or non-conformances, and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to present commissioning progress and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on emerging commissioning practices, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the engineering sector.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in commissioning, testing, or field engineering within industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control system diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning processes, including functional testing, loop checking, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, NFPA, and ASME.
  • Experience with SCADA, PLCs, and control system commissioning is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work in diverse field conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
