About this role

  • Design, develop, and implement control system architectures using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Program and configure industrial controllers (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) for process automation.
  • Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning of control systems in production environments.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including control logic diagrams, system manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis on control system failures and recommend preventive measures.
  • Support continuous improvement projects through data analysis, performance monitoring, and system optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, ISO) and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to operations and maintenance teams.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial control system design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens S7 series, Rockwell ControlLogix, or equivalent).
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware).
  • Strong understanding of PID control, feedback systems, and process dynamics.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA).
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and process control devices (sensors, valves, transmitters).
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control logic diagrams.
  • Problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to system diagnostics and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
