Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours. The ideal candidate is dedicated in providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.
Duties:
Perform basic math functions to handle transactions and make change
Operate computer system, scanners, and credit card/debit card ATM terminals
Memorize machine locations throughout the casino and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
Maintain accurate cash drawer
Take a tally of the funds in the cash drawer when required during a shift and produce transaction reports
Keep the cashier area clean and orderly
Works as a team member to make sure that casino floor is clean and orderly along with other employees.
Skills/Qualifications:
High school graduate
Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
Previous experience in a cashier environment helpful.
Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
Ability to process gaming tickets, check cashing, and cash advance transactions.
Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and twisting and standing for long periods of time
Knowledge of casino system, including cash, credit cards and paycheck procedures.
