The Setter Captain is a performance-driven, field-based role responsible for leading door-to-door appointment setting efforts while maintaining high standards of quality, professionalism, and productivity. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking strong earning potential through consistent performance and high-quality appointments.
The Setter Captain engages directly with homeowners to introduce company services, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for Sales Consultants. Compensation is tied to closed deals, system size, and quarterly performance results.
Conduct consistent door-to-door prospecting within assigned territories
Engage homeowners and clearly communicate the company’s value proposition
Set accurate, qualified appointments for Sales Consultants
Ensure all appointments meet internal quality and qualification standards
Represent the company professionally at all times
Comply with company scripts, training, policies, and procedures
Maintain clear and timely communication with management and sales teams
$2,500 monthly base salary
Benefits included
6.3 – 9.4 kW: $500 per closed deal
9.5 – 14.2 kW: $750 per closed deal
14.2 – 19.9 kW: $1,000 per closed deal
20+ kW: $1,500 per closed deal
Setter commissions are paid upfront at the design phase of the project, prior to installation, as a courtesy advance based on expected performance.
If a deal for which commission has already been paid is cancelled, falls out of contract, or fails to install for any reason, the previously paid commission will be clawed back.
Clawbacks will be deducted from future commissions or bonuses until fully reconciled.
Setters are eligible for quarterly bonuses based on the total number of battery systems closed during the quarter:
1–19 Batteries: $1,000 total bonus ($100 per deal)
20–29 Batteries: $4,000 total bonus ($200 per deal)
30+ Batteries: $7,500 total bonus ($250 per deal)
To qualify for any quarterly bonus, the Setter Captain must remain actively employed for the full duration of the quarter.
If the employee voluntarily resigns or is terminated prior to the end of the quarter, all battery commissions and quarterly bonuses are forfeited, regardless of production level.
