Position Description:
Responsible for the electrical diagnostics and wiring of conveyors
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education: HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or related field or a certificate and/or specialized training in electrical technology.
Certifications: Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
Language Requirements: Must speak, read, write English fluently
Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience in electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Wiring of production plants on the assembly lines, assisting with the fitting of electrical systems, trouble shooting software problems and electrical faults
- Testing and troubleshooting machine functionality.
- Cataloging and analyzing system non-performances
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date, completed and filed
- Actively minimize plant downtime in support of production by responding quickly to production line breakdown situations when required
- Reading of electrical drawings
- Involved in driving product and supplier electrical quality improvement
- Assist the quality team with completing pre-dispatch inspection checks and correcting electrical/control defects.
- Liaison with Supervisors, Managers and team members
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology or related field or a certificate and/or specialized training in electrical technology.
- State electrical license is preferred.
- PLC experience is preferred.
- Experience of 3-phase and 12/24 VDC electrical control systems
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Experience of electric system installation and wiring on plant equipment in a high volume production environment
- Knowledge of automotive electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics withing a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industrial machine systems would be preferred as well as hydraulic pumps and valves.

Hourly rate $27-$32
