Opportunity Overview

Nextest is looking for a senior software engineer to join an exciting, hardworking, and collaborative team, to lead the effort to improve software quality for Customers’ production.

In this role, you will develop test programs in the way our customers are using the features and functions of our systems in their test programs and provide maximum coverage using the best possible commercially available test vehicles including DSA and devices if it is not exactly same setup with the customers’. You will work closely with Apps and the rest of the software team to address customer issues once you encounter them with new software release.   

  • Understand customer use model of the features and functions of our system.
  • Write test programs in the customer use model to verify the UI before we release it to customers.
  • Build a test case and work with Software development and SQA team for issues you caught during your verification.
  • Review the release notes and communicate with Apps and customers.
  • Work with Apps and development team to understand new features to be in the new release and add test coverage for the new features.

  • Experience and knowledge of ATE products, industry, and/or customers, Memory ATE is the plus.
  • Experience handling international customers.
  • Expert knowledge of C++, Object Oriented design and programming skills Mastery implementing software that directly interacts with hardware (FPGAs and ASICs)
  • Knowledge of Windows and experience with Visual Studio required
  • Good communication and strong influence.
  • Willing to work in APAC time zones with up to 30% travel
  • Product and/or Applications knowledge of Magnum Tester is a plus
  • Ability to speak Korean is a plus

 

Compensation:
The base salary range for this role is $177,900 - $284,700. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
