Opportunity Overview

 

We are currently looking for a Design Engineering Intern who will work closely with engineers in the RF Engineering Group. This is a position where you will be integrated within the design team, developing a new product that will be on the leading edge of testing the cellular and connectivity devices that are leaders in the market. Your role and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Collaborate in the design verification of HW in automated processes using equipment such as VNAs, Phase Noise Analyzers, Signal Analyzers and Generators
  • Develop debugging techniques to resolve issues with hardware in the lab
  • Partner with senior engineers to collect data and analyze results for margin to specifications
  • Build simulation models and evaluate prototypes as required by the product

  • Interest in working with RF circuitry 
  • Working towards a junior or senior year in BSEE or enrolled in an MSEE program
  • Hands-on lab experience with instrumentation including VNA and Spectrum Analyzer preferred. 
  • Prior Teradyne Coop/Intern experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required. Ability to absorb, assimilate and synthesize information quickly will be invaluable.
  • Must be self-motivated, team oriented, hands-on, and work with minimal supervision
  • Must be available to work full time during summer break
  • Must be available to work onsite in the North Reading, MA location

 

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

 

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

 

Compensation:
The base hourly range for this role is $25.50-$47.00. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
