Opportunity Overview  

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the Mechanical Engineering Group, which is responsible for developing our Semiconductor Test Systems. As a member of Mechanical Engineering Group, the Mechanical Engineer you will have your hands in many ongoing projects and day to day tasks. 

In this role, you will apply your knowledge of Mechanical Engineering towards: 

  

  • Assisting in assembly and validation of Engineering prototypes 
  • Executing lifecycle testing on equipment in the lab 
  • Use SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, drawings, and FEA simulations. Create assembly level BoMs and release these items on ECNs 
  • Participate in team meetings, and present quantitative and qualitative findings in an organized and professional manner 
  • Assisting with thermal testing and simulations 
  • The role is based out of our office in North Reading, MA and requires on-site presence.

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks part creation, drawings, and large assemblies 
  • Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T) 
  • Understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing (DFA and DFM principles) 
  • Knowledge of measurement systems and techniques 
  • Strong ability to communicate 
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information 
  • Ability to manage their time 
  • Positive attitude 
  • Enjoys hands on approach toward engineering 

  

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

Compensation: 
The base salary range for this role is $65,000- $95,600. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.  

 

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
