Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

<h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2> <p>Our London-based Finance team is expanding and we are looking for a talented Financial Planning &amp; Analysis Manager with a professional services or advisory background to join our growing team. This role primarily supports our Global Financial Advisory business, reporting directly into its CFO.&nbsp; The Financial Planning &amp; Analysis Manager will collaborate with senior finance individuals and other internal finance teams to ensure efficiency and compliance.</p> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Produce comprehensive monthly management reporting that creates a clear view of periodic performance in support of financial goals</li> <li>Key role in influencing strategic and financial direction of business through planning cycle, decision support and performance management</li> <li>Partner with key stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives such as identify process improvements, and evaluate the impact to the organization</li> <li>Prepare and oversee the preparation of Monthly &amp; Quarterly reporting for Board and Management meetings</li> <li>Ability to summarise financial results and story surrounding company performance</li> <li>Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to department leadership, client teams, and other groups as necessary</li> <li>Participate in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process</li> <li>Collaborate with regional business leaders to build and/or enhance reporting needs as necessary</li> <li>Work closely with the CFO and FC teams to manage business level budgets and forecasts</li> <li>Prepare adhoc reporting for various parties including management and executive teams</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Key Skills &amp; Experience</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance</li> <li>Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), both time and exam qualified.</li> <li>Minimum of 5+years of experience and 2 years PQE</li> <li>Previous experience at a professional services or advisory firm</li> <li>Ability to build &amp; analyze financial models &amp; forecasts</li> <li>Highly Proficient in Excel</li> <li>Advanced Proficiency in PowerPoint &amp; building Presentation Decks</li> <li>Working knowledge of reporting tools (ex: Power BI, NSPB, etc.) a plus</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a fluid business environment</li> <li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills; proactive with a high sense of urgency</li> </ul> <h2><strong>The Financial Advisory Team at Teneo</strong></h2> <p>Teneo’s global Financial Advisory business advises corporates, creditors and other financial stakeholders in situations of financial stress and distress.
