Position Summary:
Reporting to the Head Football Coach, the Director of On-Campus Football Recruiting will assist in all matters related to on-campus recruiting. Main responsibilities include: planning and executing unofficial/official/gameday visits for PSA’s and their guests, work with creative team to produce NCAA permissible recruiting materials for coaches to send to PSA’s, assisting with the planning and execution of summer prospect camps, compile and organize relevant PSA contact information (including but not limited to: phone/email, parent names and contact info, family info, HS coach contact, academic interests, key decision making factors, champions in PSA’s life), assist in the team travel planning process and lead pre-con meetings at away sites on behalf of the Director of Football Operations. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of directly related full-time experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preferred:
Previous experience with a Division 1 Football program. *Knowledge of NCAA and Conference Regulations.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to work a highly variable schedule including nights and weekends.
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Software including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Demonstrated problem solving, strong leadership, and team-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
