Salary Range: $35,600-$50,000

Position Summary
Reporting to the AVP Advancement Engagement, the Advancement Engagement Coordinator, will provide a high level of organizational and operational support to the Advancement Engagement team, with an emphasis on delivering an exemplary customer service experience for all constituents. This person will serve as the first point of contact for Temple Alumni and visitors by providing front welcome desk support within the Institutional Advancement suite. As part of managing this desk, the Coordinator will not only provide in person support to constituents but also be responsible for monitoring the alumni email account, field incoming phone calls to the Alumni Relations phone line, 
and overseeing the alumni benefits programs, including but not limited Alumni Card request and Alumni License Plate requests. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring coverage of front desk in their absence.

The Coordinator will provide unit and project support for Advancement Engagement by updating alumni information within department systems, running and generating reports both regularly and as needed, and providing individual department support on an as needed basis. In addition, the Coordinator will provide limited administrative support to the department leadership, including scheduling/coordinator internal and external meetings, expense reports, and submitting donor and 
alumni contact reports.  

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Details 
This position requires the following background checks: Will have access or control over financial transactions for the university or have access to Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
This position is 100%25 ON-SITE.
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends.

Required Education and Experience 
Bachelor’s degree. 
At least two years of directly related experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience 
 Experience using fundraising databases and calendaring/organizational tools.

Required Skills and Abilities 
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite and fundraising databases.
Excellent organization skills and ability to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously.
Ability to perform special projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain operational systems and procedures and ensure adherence to the same.
Ability to adapt and work effectively within a variety of situations and with a diverse group of individuals. 
Results-oriented, facts-driven, with high energy and drive, a positive attitude and excellent listening and communications skills.
