What you'll do

What you bring

You are a seasoned Engineering Manager with a deep technical foundation, recognized for shaping engineering culture and leading autonomous, high-performing teams that deliver critical, scalable solutions.

  • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience as an individual contributor, with 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership
  • A track record of successfully mentoring and growing software developers as a direct manager, and experience building teams that thrive on ownership
  • Deep technical foundation in developing and operating large-scale, high-volume backend systems
  • Hands-on expertise with modern cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure), event-based architecture, microservices, and contemporary languages like Java (e.g., Spring Boot) with SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Well-versed in leveraging performance, quality, and velocity metrics to drive data-driven decision-making, measure application health, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement
  • Experience with modern software development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complicated technical solutions simply and logically to diverse audiences
  • A proven ability to act as a hands-on coach and mentor, cultivating a strong engineering culture built on trust, continuous learning, and high autonomy
