Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer with a passion for service reliability to join Telstra Global Business Services LLP. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable software systems, with a strong focus on ensuring their continuous availability, performance, and resilience. You will play a key part in implementing DevOps practices, optimizing our development pipelines, and leveraging cloud technologies to deliver exceptional service.

Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions across various platforms, including API, front-end, and back-end systems.
Implement and champion DevOps practices and toolchains to enhance continuous integration, continuous delivery, and overall system reliability.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, methodologies, and system architectures.
Develop and manage database solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
Utilize scripting and back-end development skills to automate tasks, build robust services, and troubleshoot complex issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address service reliability challenges, applying relevant Agile methodologies.
Participate in the design, development, and optimization of mobile applications.
Leverage virtualization and cloud technologies to build, deploy, and manage resilient and scalable infrastructure.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to prevent outages.
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Job Qualifications
Proven experience in API Development, Front-End Development, Mobile Development, and Scripting / back-end development.
Strong understanding and practical experience with Continuous Development, Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration, and DevOps Practices.
Familiarity with various Dev ops Toolchains.
Experience in Database Development.
Proficiency in Virtualisation / Cloud technologies.
Solid understanding and application of relevant Agile methodology.
Demonstrated Growth / Learning mindset.
Excellent Teamwork and collaboration skills.
