Telstra Consumer - Telstra Retail is responsible for Telstra's retail and regional sales and services operations.

About the role

As a Senior Space Planning Specialist, you play a key role in delivering effective customer service processes and enhancing the overall experience across various business areas. Your work involves identifying and implementing strategies to meet customer expectations by applying your extensive knowledge of business processes and service operations. Through your expertise, you help improve efficiency, user experience, and the value of these processes.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing sales performance to optimize the micro and macro store space in the creation and maintenance of planograms and floorplans
• Analyze the existing space planning ways of working to improve ROS
• Guide and plan the ongoing review, development, and implementation of the Telstra Retail Space Planning strategy
• Review and analyze ways range or space could impact or make big impacts through analysis and space analytics
• Streamline and seek space efficiencies through stakeholder collaboration
• Support the onboarding of new stores, refurbishment stores and conversion stores to the Telstra network through effective floor planning and space optimization
• Support category growth ambitions with effective project management skills 
• Vendor and Key internal stakeholder management

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong Analytical Thinking – Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Advanced Power BI Skills – Expertise in creating dashboards and visual reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel – Including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Space Planning Expertise (Micro/Macro) – Skilled in optimizing layouts and resource allocation.
• Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement – Building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
• Excellent Stakeholder Management – Managing expectations and delivering outcomes effectively.

Nice to Have:

• A Business Degree or equivalent qualification.
