We’re looking for a Senior VMware Cloud Engineer to join us at Telia.

I’m Daniel Göthberg, the Head of Virtual Compute & Container within the Tech Platform Services, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking Cloud platform team focusing on developing, maintaining and evolving Telia’s Private IT Cloud platform across the Nordics.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain our VMware-based Private IT Cloud platform built on VCF, vRA, and Tanzu Kubernetes

• Delivering IaaS, PaaS, and CaaS services through a self-service portal

• Contribute to a National Security zone virtual team

• Take a leading role in NSX-T technology within the Cloud platform team

What will help you thrive in this role:

• Proven experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and NSX-T (operations + architecture/design)

• Strong knowledge of AVI Load Balancer, Terraform, and networking concepts

• Ability to work in a security regulated environment handle incidents/change management

• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Experience with VCF Automation (vRA8) and Tanzu Kubernetes

• Familiarity with vROps, JIRA, GitHub, Ansible and Agile principles and SAFe framework

• General networking knowledge (Cisco)

• Approved high-level security clearance (Telia/external parties)
