Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1.    Develop a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance program for Manufacturing and Plant equipment. Responsible for internal and external audit process for preventive maintenance.
2.    Review manufacturing and plant equipment condition and recommended corrective actions.
3.    Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment, fixtures and test equipment need ed transfer to production floor.
4.    Provide relevant training to maintenance technicians on equipment handling and trouble shooting.
5.    Support maintenance technicians in equipment trouble shooting to restore equipment to good running condition.
6.    Undertake effective OSH measures to ensure compliance, within the workplace, with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements.
7.    To keep tracking on spare parts inventory to avoid out of stock issue.
8.    To establish report such as machine parts cost and equipment downtime.
9.    Reviewing, revising, or generating the necessary documentation on equipment, tooling, specification, drawings, etc.
10.    Work with Process Engineer and Quality Engineer in executing the Validation protocols for facility validation, equipment validations, operation qualification validation and process qualification validations  
11.    Maintain documentations for equipment installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purpose.
12.    Develop cost-reduction improvement projects while sustain quality and productivity.
13.    Review of the condition and capability of the manufacturing processes to produce to key product specifications, equipment, fixtures, and test equipment needed for the successful manufacture of the product.
14.    Responsible for overall planning and execution of equipment maintenance, and repairs during production mode. Engage internal resources and/or suppliers to support equipment repairs in the most cost-effective method.
15.    Mentoring and coaching of technician on technical aspects of machines, equipment and devices. 
16.    To create documentation such as User Requirement Specification (URS), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification    :
Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic)

Experience    :
Knowledge on electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation is essential.
3 – 5 years in similar capacity with manufacturing experience.
Experience on PLC/HMI programming or 3D CAD software. 
Excellent oral and written communication.
