You will take charge of our analytical and AI platforms and actively shape the company's AI future.
You will develop scalable, secure data and AI infrastructures and ensure that all business areas have easy access to data and AI. You will promote innovation, drive the further development of the platforms and make analytics and AI a central tool for complex business decisions. With technical expertise, strategic vision and leadership experience, you will lead your team and have a lasting impact on Telefónica's data and AI landscape.
What to expect
- #Strategic Leadership: Strategically lead and develop company-wide AI and BI platforms to effectively leverage analytics and AI capabilities across all business units.
- #Platform Management: Ensure the functionality, scalability, and reliability of the platforms, and continuously optimize them based on new technology trends and business requirements.
- #Enablement & Governance: Establish guidelines, best practices, and frameworks for using AI and analytical tools to empower teams throughout the company to effectively use data and AI.
- #Market Assessment: Conduct technological market analysis and evaluate new products, tools, and frameworks to select, introduce, and further develop the best platform solutions for the company.
- #AI Lifecycle Management: Plan, train, retrain, and adjust algorithms based on data, including clean lifecycle concepts for the sustainable use of AI.
- #Resource Management: Take responsibility for resource planning, budget, and KPIs to ensure the efficiency, quality, and continuous development of the platforms.
What you bring
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in #Computer Science, #Data Science, #Engineering, #Telecommunications or a comparable field.
- You have at least 10 years of experience in technology or IT roles, ideally within the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex technology and data environments.
- You have initial #leadership experience and can develop, inspire, and strategically guide high-performing teams.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of #data and AI architectures, are proficient in #AI lifecycle management (training, retraining, and algorithm adaptation), and understand how platforms and AI solutions support #business strategy.
- You have a proven track record of building, #scaling, and continuously optimizing complex data and AI platforms, including #cloud platforms (#AWS, #Azure, #GCP), along with cross-functional knowledge in the telecommunications sector.
- You are skilled in the #selection and #implementation of new technologies and platforms, evaluating #market trends, asessing costs, benefits, and risks and are a confident communicator in both #German and #English (#Spanish is a plus).
