Job Description

  

Job Summary:

Teledyne FLIR’s Bozeman, MT site is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Coordinator to support Traffic and Sales Operations. This role ensures accurate order processing, on‑time shipments, and compliance with internal policies and U.S. export regulations (ITAR/EAR). The position works closely with Operations, Global Trade Compliance, Finance, Sales Operations, Contracts, and Marketing to support smooth customer and product flow.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter and manage customer orders in SAP; ensure accurate customer data.

  • Send order confirmations and serve as a point of contact for post sales customer inquiries.

  • Support shipping, receiving, and cross‑functional responses to customer issues.

  • Maintain order files, documentation, and system records.

  • Coordinate with Finance on payment information and issue resolution.

  • Support visitor management processes.

  • Partner with Quality on compliance and audit-related requests.

  • Assess ITAR/EAR applicability to products and perform jurisdiction classifications.

  • Review requirements to determine ITAR/EAR export or import authorizations.

  • Contribute to development and improvement of standard processes and procedures.

  • Build strong knowledge of company operations and policies.

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); ability to learn new platforms (SAP, OCR EASE).

  • Experience with ERP systems preferred; SAP a plus.

  • Awareness of ITAR/EAR regulations beneficial.

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

  • Positive, customer‑focused attitude and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
