Job Description

Are you the connecting link within our R&D department?

In this role, you'll work with four direct colleagues to create high-tech prototypes, test tools and digital product information. You'll be both hands-on and administrative, and we'll take your talents and interests into account. Variety guaranteed!

What will you do as an R&D Support Engineer?

• Building and testing initial prototypes and documenting processes.
• Contributing to test setups, verification, and the production ramp-up of new products.
• Documenting procedures in our digital production system so that production can smoothly process follow-up orders.
• Collaborate closely with engineers from the development team and production.
• Supporting various R&D disciplines, such as:
  • Designing tooling (mechanical and/or electronic)
  • Writing scripts to automate processes and tooling
  • Soldering and creating 2D/cable drawings
  • Actively contributing to improving process flow.

Requirements

An R&D Support Engineer at Adimec:

• Is practical, has strong communication skills, is independent, and enjoys collaborating with fellow engineers and project managers.
• Has a vocational (MBO) or vocational (MBO+) qualification, for example, in Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Has a sense of responsibility and can handle rapidly changing situations.
• Is quality-conscious and sets high standards for their own work and that of others.
• Is eager to learn in various disciplines (electronics, mechanics, processes, etc.).
