Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order or group of task orders affecting the same system.
• Assists the Program Manager in coordinating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
• Responsible for the overall management of specific task order(s), ensuring that all technical solutions, deliverables, and schedules are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
• Oversees day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and risk management across all assigned projects.
• Provides leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure alignment with mission objectives and contract performance goals.
• Manages task order budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to achieve contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to identify issues, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational challenges.
• Prepares and delivers project status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and government representatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector within IT and/or consulting fields.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field; or four (4) additional years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications

• Project Management Certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or other recognized equivalent).

• Cloud Certification: Relevant Cloud Certified Professional (CCP) certification from Google, AWS, Oracle (OCI), or Microsoft Azure.

• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) 
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) 
• GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) 
• Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) 

Clearance

• Top Secret – IT-I (Tier 5/SSBI) Critical Sensitive Clearance
