REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance

Current U.S. SECRET clearance required (T3 Investigation). (Limited/Privileged Access).

Education

• Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science OR

Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of specialized experience

Experience

Cisco MDS, NetApp technology to include:

OnTap,

SnapVault, and

SnapMirror, and

Windows 2012/2016 server.

The following experience is desired.

Experience in data center operations and maintenance,

Experience in disk snapshots, storage, and replication to support disaster recovery and failover operations,

Experience in storage connectivity, allocation and infrastructure,

Experience in disaster recovery planning and execution,

Experience with U.S. Military Command and Control Communications Systems,

Experience in a Network Services Support of Consulting.

Certification

• NCDA or
• Veritas VCS or
• Veritas VCP

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Data Storage Administrator responsibilities include managing NetApp storage clusters, Veritas backup systems, Cisco MDS fiber switching, snapshots, replication, and DISA‑aligned cybersecurity controls.

Overview

The Data Storage Administration/Engineer provides engineering, administration, and lifecycle management of enterprise storage systems—including SAN, NAS, DR/backup, and storage fabric technologies—across RCC‑E‑managed data centers and operational nodes. This role ensures storage availability, data integrity, disaster recovery readiness, replication accuracy, and performance optimization in accordance with Army, NETCOM, and RCC‑E policies.
