Full-Time Professor in Sciences

What will you do?

This position seeks to strengthen and consolidate the Sciences Department at the Querétaro Campus. Through your talent, the goal is to reinforce areas such as Numerical Simulation, Statistics, Non-Destructive Testing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Sciences. This will support the growth of the faculty required to teach Science courses, as well as research and engagement with the surrounding environment.

Your main challenges will be:

• Teach Science courses each semester in accordance with the Tec21 Model.

• Conduct high-impact research aligned with Tecnológico de Monterrey’s strategic lines.

• Lead research projects in collaboration with national and international institutions and/or consulting projects with regional industry.

• Build relationships with the industrial sector to carry out consulting projects and/or academia–industry collaborations.

• Generate the research outputs required to remain an active member of the Institute’s research faculty.

• Participate in departmental initiatives and projects at both the local and regional levels.

What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Engineering, preferably focused on one of the following areas: Numerical Simulation, Statistics, Non-Destructive Testing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Sciences.

• Preferably with international training at a Top 200 university according to the QS Ranking.

• Recent publications in Q1 and/or Q2 journals.

• Preferably experience and connections with companies and research institutes in the listed areas.

• Experience obtaining funding for research, technological development, and/or consulting projects (desirable).

• Advanced English level (B2, TOEFL 600 points).
