<p><span><strong>Assignment description</strong></span></p><p><span>The Cloud &amp; Infrastructure Technical Product Owner will lead the technical strategy, design, and implementation of the company's cloud infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in advancing the company’s cloud-first strategy, with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The role must bring expertise cultivated from a developer and engineering perspective. Given the size of the team, the Product Owner will contribute as a developer in the team.</span></p><p></p><p><span>As an influential technical leader, the Product Owner will ensure the delivery of secure, efficient, and scalable cloud-and on-prem hosting services, collaborating across teams and mentoring engineers to drive good automation practices.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Ownership:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Take ownership of the technical roadmap for the company’s infrastructure, delivering on the cloud-first vision while prioritizing automation and IaC principles.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement streamlined, high-performing resource provisioning processes and maintain high levels of reliability and security.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>Technical Collaboration:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Collaborate with teams across Data &amp; Analytics, Network Services, digital product teams to integrate cloud infrastructure solutions into the application landscape.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Facilitate workflows and automation pipelines using source control and CI/CD tools like GitHub Enterprise.</span></p></li><li><p><span>This role is expected to have a strong technical collaboration across the company including the technical lead community.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>Mentorship &amp; Enablement:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Provide informal mentorship to engineers, empowering them with good practices in cloud automation, IaC, and DevOps.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Serve as a technical thought leader, driving innovation and advocating for continuous improvement in cloud practices.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>Cost and Vendor Optimization:</strong></span></p><p><span>Evaluate vendors and technologies to ensure alignment with performance needs and cost management goals.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Skill requirements:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Cloud Platforms: Azure architecture and services (Functions, VMs, networking, storage, AKS, automation)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, Ansible principles and usage.</span></p></li><li><p><span>DevOps &amp; CI/CD: Concepts, pipelines, and integration (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).</span></p></li><li><p><span>Monitoring &amp; Observability: Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Product Ownership Practices: Backlog management, prioritization, stakeholder engagement, roadmap definition.</span></p></li></ul><p><span></span></p><p><span><strong>Experience:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Minimum 6 years of professional experience in cloud and infrastructure engineering, with significant experience implementing IaC solutions within Azure environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Proven ability to align cloud strategy with business objectives.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Delivered large-scale platform automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Designed and implemented observability frameworks for multi-environment platforms.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Worked closely with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, business, and security.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>Skills:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Strategic thinking with a technical depth in cloud &amp; infrastructure.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong leadership and influencing abilities without direct authority.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Hands-on capability with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and modern DevOps tools.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Skilled in translating business needs into robust, scalable technical solutions.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Forward-thinking, curious and tech savvy with proven ability to build great relationships and get results from working with others.</span></p></li></ul><p></p>
