About this role

Job Purpose

Due to the increased global demand for engineering, we are looking for motivated engineering professionals to join our Subsea Services Engineering Department in Global Engineering Center. As an Engineer, you will be working on the Modifications, Maintenance, Testing, and Overhaul of Oil and Gas Production Subsea Equipment as well as providing operational support for TechnipFMC sites across the world.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing new as well as design improvements of Tools, Test Equipment, and Operational Equipment
  • Creating, updating and reviewing instructions supporting equipment testing, overhaul, maintenance, and offshore installations
  • Creating, updating and reviewing the drawings such as machining (detailed with geometrical tolerances), assembly, production, welding, general arrangement, stack-up, hydraulic schematics
  • Engineering support of machining, production, and assembly of equipment
  • Engineering support of equipment testing
  • Creating as-built documentation for modified equipment
  • Engineering and Hands-On support to workshops in resolving various problems with equipment
  • Technical support to offshore installations of company equipment portfolio
  • Support for the procurement department in the ordering of subsea equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machine Design, Mechatronics, Production/ Process Engineering or other related field
  • +0 years of professional experience - Junior Subsea Services Engineer
  • +3 years of professional experience - Subsea Services Engineer
  • Experience in 3D CAD Software
  • Experience in PLM Software (ie. Teamcenter, SAP) would be a plus
  • Oil and Gas Industry experience would be a plus
  • Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in English, orally and through written documentation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
