About this role

Job Title: CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

Shift differential

4 - 10 hour days - Fridays off

$5,000 signing bonus

FLSA Status:  Non-exempt 


GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB. 

Set up and make world class parts in order to efficiently print. Must be a dependable,  team player. Intermediate to advanced blueprint reading with GD&T. Must have good tooling and machining
background.
 

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  

  

1. Set up and operate any CNC Cell safely and productively. 

2. Perform first piece and in-process inspections. 

3. Set up and run manual mill and lathe machines. 

4. Load parts into machines. 

5. Able to work independently. 

6. Keep area neat and clean. 

7. Ability to resolve issues with minimal supervision. 

  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two years machining experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS  

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  

  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The
employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Loading and unloading of parts, moving of racks, etc. Lifting fixtures.
