Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead a team of FileNet designers to establish standard procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on various strategic initiatives.
• Perform Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate new technologies (Watson, GraphQL) and solutions.
• Work with business stakeholders on requirements gathering and guide designers accordingly.
• Design document storage solutions based on business requirements.
• Define content governance frameworks, metadata models, and retention policies.
• Partner with the platform team to plan and execute IBM FileNet platform upgrades.
• Troubleshoot application, environmental, and platform issues related to FileNet.
• Customize IBM Content Navigator (ICN) desktops using DOJO and Java.
• Ensure system stability, performance, and security.
• Conduct system assessments and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Develop solutions using FileNet APIs (API development is a must).
• Experience with AI, MCP, and content assistant is an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

• Undergraduate degree, Post Graduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
• Proven experience with IBM FileNet, including API development.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in solution design, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with ICN customization using DOJO and Java.
• Knowledge of content governance, metadata modeling, and retention policies.
• Experience with platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and system optimization.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AI, MCP, and content assistant is a plus.
