So What Does the Occupational Safety Expert do in TaskUs?

Consider yourself being responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing occupational safety and health programs to protect all employees, facilities and business continuity. This role ensures full compliance with Croatian OSH legislation, drives incident prevention readiness and continuously strengthens the company’s safety culture across all country sites.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise risk assessments, update the OSH Action Plan and maintain legal register in line with MROSP and EU directives

• Deliver mandatory employee safety inductions, first-aid & fire-protection training and maintain training records

• Investigate accidents/near-misses, complete root-cause analysis and track corrective actions to closure

• Act as the company’s Authorized OSH Expert and perform statutory workplace & equipment checks

• Prepare quarterly OSH performance reports for Workers’ Council and Management Board

• Draft and routinely test emergency evacuation & rescue plans

• Conduct internal audits, lead external certification surveillance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• University degree in technical, biotechnical, natural, social or medical sciences

• Passed State professional exam for OSH experts

• Valid MROSP second-level authorization certificate (or proof of application) plus minimum 2 years post-exam OSH experience

• Fluent in Croatian & English (C1);

• Highest integrity and responsiveness in emergency situations
