About this role

The Basics


We are seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Senior Business Analyst with extensive expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end requirements lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of strategic projects, driving functional and technical design, and leading the evaluation and testing of new and existing technologies during concept validation. Serving as a senior liaison, you will collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Finance to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely delivery of critical project milestones. As a senior member of the Business Systems team, you will play a central role in optimizing our Salesforce platform to elevate the customer experience, streamline business processes, and accelerate organizational growth. The ideal candidate brings a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce capabilities, proven experience translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions, and the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams toward successful outcomes. 


This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.


 


What you'll do



  • Works collaboratively with the Sales Systems team, along with other groups as necessary, to ensure the requirements are understood and documented. This person will be hands-on and will need to be an expert inthe Salesforce platform and be comfortable with Salesforce CPQ. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to shape requirements and ensure alignment with business/technology strategy and planned initiatives

  • Drive the planning, prioritization, design, developmentand deployment of new projects & system enhancements 

  • Responsible for understanding business requirements, creating/grooming user stories, and partnering with the delivery team to deliver solutions.

  • Leverage business knowledge and expertiseto identify opportunities for process improvements; serve as a trusted technology advisor for business users. 

  • Coordinate and perform system testing to ensure requirements are met. Work closely with the project team during user acceptance testing (UAT); including tracking issues through to resolution and securing end user acceptance sign-off.

  • Partner with business operations team members to define, plan, and execute small and medium projects, in addition to ongoing delivery of ‘run the business’ enhancements and fixes.


We’re looking for someone with



  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent) in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree 

    • Salesforce SalesCloud Consultant and Salesforce Administrator Certifications preferred 

    • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification or Business Analyst Certification is a plus



  • Experience

    • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst/implementationconsultant/solutions architect supporting Salesforce platform 

    • 5+ years of experience with declarative development on the Salesforceplatform as an administrator 

    • Experience designing and supporting large scale, technically complex solutions on Salesforce and associated ecosystems

    • Previoushands-on experience working with Salesforce CPQ and CPQ Advanced Approvals 

    • Goodunderstanding of software testing with knowledge on building test plans and executing them in unit, functional and user acceptance test cycles 

    • Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy where adaptability is imperative

    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

    • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred

    • Demonstrated understanding of Change Management processes

    • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously; workload will be a blend of small, medium, and large projects as well as ongoing production support

What you’ll get


The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 to $280,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.


In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
