Summary:
The IT Systems & Support Specialist at autoMHatic Financial is a hands-on, in-office role responsible for supporting end users, maintaining core IT systems, and ensuring the reliability, security, and usability of our technology environment.
This individual will serve as the frontline owner of onsite IT support while also administering Microsoft 365, supporting mortgage systems such as Encompass, assisting with security and compliance initiatives, and contributing to light data and automation efforts. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the business, solving real problems in person, and taking ownership of IT operations in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
This role is 100% in-office and includes daily hands-on IT support as a core responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for onsite, in-person IT support, delivering timely and service-oriented assistance to employees
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues including laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, printers, peripherals, workstations, MFA, password resets, and access issues
Provision, configure, deploy, maintain, and track end-user devices and IT assets
Install, repair, and upgrade PC hardware and software while following established IT procedures and documentation standards
Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and security controls across enterprise systems
Act as a liaison between Technology and business teams to support business applications, system availability, and issue resolution
Support mortgage systems such as Encompass or nCino Mortgage by assisting with user access, workflow support, troubleshooting, and system-related issues
Assist leadership with evaluating business processes, data integrity, operational improvements, and compliance-related system needs
Support day-to-day security operations including MFA enforcement, endpoint security tooling, phishing response, and user education
Assist with audits and compliance initiatives by gathering documentation and supporting evidence requests
Perform basic SQL queries, data validation, reporting support, and data quality checks as needed
Contribute to automation and workflow improvements using scripts or system tools, with a focus on operationalizing existing solutions rather than designing new platforms
Escalate critical incidents appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution

QualificationsQualifications:
2–4+ years of experience in IT Desktop Support, IT Operations, or a similar hands-on support role
Strong experience providing in-person, onsite end-user IT support
Proven ability to troubleshoot and support laptops, PCs, printers, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools and services
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) environments
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Technology leadership and business teams
Willingness and ability to perform daily hands-on IT support as a core function of the role
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience in mortgage lending, consumer finance, or other regulated industries
Familiarity with Encompass or similar loan origination / servicing systems
Experience with SQL queries and basic data concepts
Experience supporting RingCentral or similar phone systems
Exposure to APIs or JavaScript (preferred, not required)
CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or M365-related certifications
