HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the delegated nursing functions under the direction of the department manager and clinical nurses. This position is responsible for assisting with direct patient care and clerical duties that are an essential function in the coordination of optimal patient care, including, but not limited to scheduling patients, patient hygiene/toileting, mobility assistance, interdepartmental transportation, vital signs, charting, ordering supplies, cleaning and stocking patient areas, chart audits and interaction with all areas of the department .

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and successful completion of a Medical Assistant training course at a vocational/technical school.

Required Experience:

None

Preferred Experience:

Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship and two (2) or more years of job-related experience preferred.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

None
