
The opportunity
Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial General Manager, Growth & Value Creation to run a private equity-backed diagnostic center and complementary healthcare services business. This is a hands-on, high-impact operator role, working alongside an experienced healthcare investor who has successfully built and scaled physician-led healthcare businesses in Canada. They bring deep operational expertise, a proven ability to professionalize operations, improve EBITDA, and support management teams through growth and acquisition. You will be embedded in the operation, partnering with teams and physician leaders to streamline processes, introduce structure where it’s missing, and drive accountability across the organization.
In the first 6–12 months, you will stabilize and modernize operations; beyond that, you will focus on growth, efficiency, and capacity expansion. Success is measured in tangible improvements to throughput, staff productivity, patient satisfaction, and profitability.
More than strategic oversight, this role is for an operator who is comfortable being in the working environment, and accountable for outcomes.
This existing vacancy is a full time hybrid role working 4 days on-site in North GTA.
