As a Software Engineer, you’ll work on modern platform development, building a wide range of features and having a real, end-to-end impact on taking Framery’s smart office solutions to the next level.</span></p><p><span>Framery’s domain is a complex ecosystem that brings together tens of thousands of IoT devices, web and mobile applications, and numerous integrations. You 'll be working with a modern tech stack, enabling you to develop diverse and innovative solutions. In your role, you will specifically take responsibility and ownership of the backend and API development and data management,&nbsp; but if you wish, you will also have the opportunity to work on the frontend.</span></p><p><span>Framery’s strength lies in its dynamic and versatile work environment and a community of around thirty developers, where you get to work as part of a supportive and ambitious team.</span></p><p><span><em>“You have a crucial part in developing an early stage product that already is, and will be used, by the most interesting clientele in the world!” - Veikko Lindberg, Software Engineering Director</em></span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Role</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Design and develop highly-available APIs and backend services capable of processing significant data volume</span></p></li><li><p><span>Implement and maintain backend system integrations (e.g. Google Workspace APIs, Microsoft Graph APIs, Salesforce, etc.)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Work on data processing pipelines and databases</span></p></li><li><p><span>Create comprehensive technical documentation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Cover your code with unit and integration tests</span></p></li><li><p><span>Introduce new technologies and concepts that improve the ways of working or the technology stack</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>You</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Deep practical experience with back end system development&nbsp;</span></p></li><li><p><span>Stack: Go, Python, AWS</span></p></li><li><p><span>You have previous relevant experience of developing APIs</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience from designing, developing and improving scalable data models in PostgreSQL (or similar)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Versatile experience of working with integrations to enterprise systems</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues in distributed systems</span></p></li><li><p><span>Interest towards technology and willingness to continuous learning</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good documentation and presentation skills</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluency in English</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Nice-to-have</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience with CDK and CloudFormation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with IoT backend systems</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with monitoring and observability tools</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>What there is for you</strong></span></p><p><span>At Framery, we believe that when people have the right tools and environment, they can do their best work.
