What You Will Do
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, toileting, and transitions
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times
Observe, document, and share children’s learning and developmental progress
Provide warm, responsive care that supports children’s emotional well-being
Assist with classroom organization, materials, and learning environment setup
Support basic administrative tasks and daily documentation
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)
Energetic, motivated, and dynamic ECA / Assistant Teacher with a passion for early learning
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting
Ontario-recognized Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification or equivalent
Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (clear and current)
Valid Criminal Background Check (clear and current)
Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification
Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, and positive guidance strategies
Reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
