- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, toileting, and transitions
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times
- Observe, document, and share children’s learning and developmental progress
- Provide warm, responsive care that supports children’s emotional well-being
- Assist with classroom organization, materials, and learning environment setup
- Support basic administrative tasks and daily documentation
- Energetic, motivated, and dynamic ECA / Assistant Teacher with a passion for early learning
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting
- Ontario-recognized Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification or equivalent
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (clear and current)
- Valid Criminal Background Check (clear and current)
- Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification
- Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, and positive guidance strategies
- Reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
