Position Overview

The E-Commerce Manager is a highly motivated, hands-on manager responsible for driving the day-to-day success of BrandsMart USA’s digital storefront. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to manage by example while inspiring the Web Operations team to deliver excellence. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at solving complex operational challenges, and is committed to ensuring a seamless and engaging online customer experience. From overseeing website content, promotions, and merchandising to resolving escalated customer service issues and ensuring ADA compliance, this manager is deeply involved in all aspects of e-commerce operations, fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams and championing continuous process improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily web operations and ensure the website’s product content, pricing, promotions, and merchandising are accurate and aligned with company goals.
  • Manage the Web Operations team, providing leadership, direction, and support to achieve performance targets and project deadlines.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline product setup, data integrity, and promotional execution across digital channels.
  • Oversee site QA processes, ensuring promotional accuracy and functionality across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Manage and resolve escalated customer service issues related to website orders, product information, or fulfillment, working closely with Customer Service and Fulfillment teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, IT, and Fulfillment teams to deliver a consistent and frictionless online shopping experience.
  • Ensure operational excellence across order fulfillment, returns management, and customer communication workflows.
  • Monitor key site metrics including conversion, checkout funnel, inventory availability, and customer satisfaction to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage relationships and performance across third-party e-commerce marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Walmart), ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and growth.
  • Partner with analytics and marketing teams to measure campaign effectiveness, track KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure the website complies with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including ADA accessibility, cookie consent, privacy, and other compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing or related field (required).
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce management for a retail or consumer products brand.
  • Experienced managing marketplace platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Walmart, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, digital merchandising, fulfillment, and customer experience best practices.
  • Experience with leading e-commerce platforms such as Retisio, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Magento.
  • Operationally minded with strong analytical and process improvement skills.
  • Experience with JIRA, ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; proven team player.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to identify and solve problems independently.
