About this role:
Reporting to the O2C Team Lead Italy this is a varied and exciting stage of 6 months (plus the opportunity to renew it for another 6 months). This role would suit a bright and ambitious individual, providing a good opportunity to gain a wider understanding of the financial aspects of our restaurant partners . The role of the O2C Intern is to act as key contact for all Italian departments in Operational Finance areas relating to our Restaurant Partners (RP’s).
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Assist with Change of Ownership and daily Change of Restaurant Details processes (CORDs Inbox). Ensure bank details are removed when requested to avoid incorrect payments being made.
- Bank Forms - Action any bank forms received within our SLA (2 working days). Ensure that all supporting documents align with our change of bank process and are captured correctly onto the Google drive.
- Holds List - Liaise with the team to ensure all restaurant queries etc. which require payments to be held, are included before the weekly payment run (Wednesday).
- Account for any RP payments returned to the bank and take appropriate action to follow up and obtain corrected details.
- Assist with accurate calculation of split payments arising from RP changes in ownership.
- Assist with the regular follow up of held payments to minimise the volume, value and length of time they are held.
- Support the O2C Team Lead - Italy with ad-hoc duties.
What will you bring to the table?
- The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- A team player keen to work with the wider business and the rest of Finance
- A high level of accuracy with good attention to detail
- Good/intermediate Excel skills
- Good communication skills both face-to-face and written
- Lots of initiative, keen to seek out improvements and find solutions if problems are encountered
- Fluent in Italian and English
This is an extracurricular stage, that cover the cost of 600 euro per month + 7 euro of ticket restaurant per day. Length of the stage is of 6 months.
