Missions/Main Duties

  • the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential HSE issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to all employees on HSE protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with management to establish HSE performance metrics and monitor progress towards goals.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare and present HSE reports to stakeholders, highlighting compliance status and areas for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external regulatory bodies and inspections regarding HSE matters.

Profile/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with any discipline.
  • from 6-8 years of experience in HSE management within the Construction industry is a proffered. 
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess HSE challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or similar HSE credentials are highly desirable.
  • Good knowledge about creating HSE documentation and statistics.
