Currently, we are bidding for Road projects across India. The position of Disaster Management Expert is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties
- Identify priorities for disaster preparedness, mitigation, and disaster risk reduction through assessments of prevailing/ frequent disaster risks,vulnerabilities and capacities.
- Ensure a detailed Program Work Plan (PWP) and procurement plans are developed and updated regularly.
- Prepare the framework of various studies and activities to be carried out.
- Provide a framework for decision-making which is essential for disaster situations
- Help group activity that is needed for guiding proper utilisation of resources for accomplishing goals
- Review and finalise the disaster preparedness, mitigation, and disaster risk reduction plan.
- Quick recovery in case of disasters during construction and operations phase.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Disaster Management or PG in emergency and Disaster risk management
- Should have minimum Professional Experience of 7 years in Preparation of Disaster Management / Preparedness Plan for Infrastructure works including Highway/ Bridges/ Metro/ Railway Projects

- The Disaster Management Expert will identify priorities for disaster preparedness and risk reduction, ensuring a detailed program work plan is developed. They will also review and finalize disaster management plans and facilitate quick recovery during disasters.
