Intrepid, an SPA company, has an immediate need for a Data Engineer.


Responsibilities

Your day-to-day work will include:  1) Providing data organization and accessibility to enable analysis in support of the Army's annual POM development and defense, which includes but is not limited to developing digital data structures and supporting data visualization tool development in support of POM planning, POM build, and Program budget review; 2) Serving as the senior data engineer providing data structures and synchronization to bolster data storage and usage to enable development of the Program Objective Memorandum; 3) Developing space and structure for data science applications that address specific organizational needs, such as improving insights into programs, optimizing operations within the directorate, or enhancing decision-making processes; and 4) Performing other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information systems
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Programming experience in R or Python with a specific emphasis on data analysis frameworks (Pandas, NumPy, Tidyverse)
  • Programming experience in data visualization frameworks (Shiny, Streamlit, Dash, Plotly, ggplot2) and SQL databases (Postgres, Oracle)
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
