Software Engineer (Full Stack)

The Opportunity 
 
We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Designing and developing of enterprise solutions for one of the world’s largest corporations 
•    Implementing distributed and highly available enterprise applications that scale for enterprise demands 
•    Adhering to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of solutions 
•    Ensuring high code quality by following software engineering best practices 
•    Working collaboratively in a cross-functional team in an Agile delivery environment 
•    Adhering to DevOps principles and being involved in projects throughout their full software lifecycle: from development, QA, and deployment to post-production support.

Requirements: 
 
·    A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of experience developing production grade enterprise applications.
·    Experience with the Java/Spring-Boot stack, with exposure on RESTful APIs, microservices and performance optimizations
·    Experience in front-end development (React/Redux stack) and related best practices.
·    Knowledge of NodeJs (Express) backend development will be beneficial
·    In-depth understanding of relational databases (MySQL or Postgres), schema design and SQL optimization. Knowledge on NoSQL databases would be an added advantage.
·    Familiarity with Linux based systems and DevOps practices
·    Prior experience and hands on exposure working with AWS would be beneficial
·    Familiarity with data streaming concepts and related toolsets (Kafka) will be an added advantage
·    Excellent communication skills
·    Familiarity with working in a Scrum Agile delivery environment.
·    Familiarity with Quality Engineering processes and practices.
