JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pricing & Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for supporting market, region, and national pricing strategies to drive margin growth, profitability, and compliance across all customer segments. This role oversees the setup and maintenance of customer bids and order guides; executes daily pricing routines; conducts recurring reporting and analysis; reviews margin performance; and provides actionable insights into Sales, Merchandising, and Revenue Management leadership. The Analyst influences pricing decisions, ensures poli cy compliance, and identifies opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Review of customer and item-level margin reports daily to ensure accurate adjusted gross profit.
  • Monitor top-moving items and recommend margin enhancement actions to Purchasing and Sales.
  • Analyze daily markets and recommend price and cost adjustments for bids, contracts, and national programs.
  • Audit all bids for pricing accuracy, including AGP, auditability, and case movement.
  • Oversee CMU and local bid setup, maintenance, and pricing compliance.
  • Set and submit cost basis for CMU and local contract business.
  • Produce and distribute daily pricing and margin reports to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct weekly pricing, margin, and item-movement analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly summaries with recommended actions for Purchasing, Sales, Merchandising, and Revenue Management leadership.
  • Support recurring pricing meetings with updated reporting, insights, and variance explanations. 
  • Execute Global Support Center Revenue Management initiatives within the Market and Region.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pricing policies, systems, processes, and routines.
  • Act as an approval point for Sysco-funded exceptions and customer investments above defined thresholds.
  • Provide analytics and reports that identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions aligned with market and corporate strategy.
  • Implement policy, process, and technology changes and train relevant personnel.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders in pricing-related actions and decision making.
  • Partner with Purchasing, Sales, and Merchandising to ensure pricing compliance and margin performance.
  • Assist Head of Merchandising and VP of Sales with query/report development and insights.
  • Direct pricing coordinators regarding bid set-up, maintenance, and communication with buyers and Sales.
  • Support consensus building among stakeholders with diverse priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field.
  • Experience with pricing, purchasing, or bid management.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, Merchandising, or a project/field-engagement role.

ABILITIES & SKILLS: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights.
  • Deep proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital technologies, data sources, and pricing frameworks.
  • Ability to solve problems using structured analysis and logical reasoning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to build credibility with leadership.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to lead stakeholders through change.
  • Comfortable processing and presenting data visually and verbally.
  • Understanding of business value drivers and corresponding financial impact.

WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Standard work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for occasional extended hours or holiday hours as needed. 
  • Primary work environment is an office setting with occasional visits to warehouse areas.

Understands and adheres to Bahamas Food Services compliance standards as they appear in the

Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
