Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Executive. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver the budgeted annual sales and profit targets with key customer groups across the National Accounts sector. Specifically, you will be tasked with managing, maintaining, and enhancing existing Head Office relationships with the customers with a view to delivering incremental sales growth on these accounts. These relationships may involve negotiations with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the same business. To be successful in this position it is desirable that you understand the foodservice industry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for consistent delivery of sales, profit targets
  • Design and implement sales plan, adapting and modifying as necessary to an ever-evolving marketplace.
  • Where appropriate ensuring all contractual elements are recorded and documented to ensure clear and concise customer and account management
  • Work collaboratively cross functionally to achieve customer sales and growth plans.
  • Responsible building effective relationships with key customers and stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Support the Company plan to ensure sustainable growth and customer relationships.
  • Support change including business improvement projects beyond immediate role responsibilities.
  • Advocate and drive consistent use of all available system tools across the team.

Requirements

  • Located within Leinster with an element of National Travel.
  • Experience within Foodservice sector is desirable.
  • Skilled in the areas of consultative selling, marketing principles, prospecting, networking, and negotiations
  • The capacity to interpret, understand and act upon financial data.
  • Developed communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Adept at creating highly effective premium propositions to our customers, incorporating regional and local industry trends to establish our foodie credentials.
  • Enrich the customer experience by providing solutions to support customer growth.
  • In support of our customer first model, work effectively across all functions to remove obstacles to ensure you can focus on improving execution and servicing our customers flawlessly.
  • Have a good knowledge of Business Technology capabilities.
  • Act with integrity and assumes full accountability treating others with respect and honesty.
  • Must have a can-do approach, with distinct ability of problem solving.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company minimum standards.
