Merchandising Coordinator – Newcastle West, Dublin or Belfast

(This role works 5 days over 7 and will involve weekend work.)

Key Accountabilities:

• Merchandising representation in European projects
• Heavy involvement in all code changes ensuring all Merchandising responsibilities is completed accurately and on a timely basis.  This role is integral in ensuring no impact or disruption to customers when changing codes.
• Responsible for tracking of sales performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to mitigate against potential commercial risk.  This role will be responsible for using internal systems to track sales revenue, volume, margin along with customer churn and leakage identifying trends and summarizing findings.
• Maintenance of business trackers and run books to ensure each task is closed in a timely manner
• Lead role communicating internally and externally to vendors.  Will be required to contact vendors on a regular basis, ensuring they remain informed on any communication while maintaining vendor responses and queries. 
• Supporting other business departments as and when required on any merchandising activities. 
• Coordinate and issue Merchandising business communications as and when required.
• Liase and support Category & Trading Managers on implementation of category strategies and day to day merchandising activities.
• Ongoing maintenance of all Vendor contacts information.
• Management of general merchandising queries & ad hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills are required with good attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to support over project weekend cut over activities
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel to intermediate-advanced level.
• Experience of AX advantageous.
• Flexible, innovative and creative in their attitudes to all issues and areas of the business.
• The ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work weekends
