The Marketing Operations & Web Growth Lead is the "technical architect" of the growth engine. You will own the entire technical journey-from the moment a visitor hits the website to the moment they become a self-serve product user. You are responsible for the performance of the website, the integrity of the MarTech stack, and the sophistication of the automation that drives our Product-Led Growth (PLG) loops.
Key Responsibilities:
1. PLG & Web Strategy (The Growth Engine)
- Web-as-a-Product: Treat the marketing website as a product, optimizing for "Self-Serve" sign-ups and seamless product entry points.
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Lead the strategy for A/B testing, personalized web experiences, and landing page performance.
- Onboarding Loops: Build and optimize the handoff from the website to the product to ensure zero friction for new users.
2. Full-Stack Marketing Operations
- MarTech Architecture: Own the selection, integration, and health of our tech stack (e.g.,Marketo,Zapier, pingdom,Pagely,cloudflare).
- Data Governance: Ensure lead routing, attribution models, and customer data flows accurately between Marketing and Sales/Product.
- Lifecycle Automation: Design complex automation workflows for lead attribution, user nurturing, and trial usage.
3. Web Development Management
- Roadmap Ownership: Manage the web development sprint cycles, balancing new feature requests with technical SEO and performance maintenance.
- Tech Standards: Oversee the technical health of the site, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and security compliance (GDPR/CCPA).
4. Leadership & Reporting
- Team Leadership: Manage a cross-functional team of developers and Marketing Operations managers, fostering a culture of experimentation and technical excellence.
- Performance Tracking: Work with the Head of Growth to build dashboards that track CAC, LTV, and Website-to-Product activation rates.
Technical Qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years in Marketing Ops or Growth Engineering, with at least 2 years leading technical teams in a SaaS environment.
- Automation Expert: Power-user of HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot (Certification preferred).
- CRM/Data Mastery: Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and data warehouses/CDPs (e.g., Segment, Snowflake).
- Web Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow) and a strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS and APIs.
- PLG Knowledge: Proven experience building self-serve funnels and managing "freemium" or "trial" conversion paths.
Success Metrics (KPIs):
- Conversion Rate: Website Visitor to Product Sign-up.
- Efficiency: Lead routing accuracy and system uptime/load speeds.
- Data Health: Database cleanliness and attribution accuracy.
- Velocity: Speed of experimentation (number of tests run per month).
