About this role
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a seasoned QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automation test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in automation testing, with expertise in Playwright, Selenium, and Java, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with development and QA teams within Agile environments to automate functional, regression, API, and database testing, ensuring system reliability, performance, and test coverage.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Functional testing
- Experience in Banking Domain/Investment Banking
- Experience in System Testing, System Integration Testing, Regression Testing, Database Testing(SQL Server/Oracle DBMS), Cross Browser Testing
- Experience in Defect Management
- Experience in Agile Methodologies(working in Scrums)
- Experience in coordinating and collaborating with different Scrum teams during in sprint/Release activity
- Test case Management in any tool like Jira(Xray/Zephyr), HP Quality Centre etc
- Exposure to Jira/Rally/Confluence
- Comfortable in supporting both Front end and Back-end testing in parallel. And flexible enough to support multiple releases
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Automation testing
- Experience in any automation tool like Selenium with Java, BDD Cucumber
- Exposure to Playwright tool with Javascript or willing to learn and adapt.
- 2-3 years of experience in API testing using Postman
- Experience in API Automation using any library like Rest Assured/Karate framework etc
- Experience in tools like Maven, GIT, CI(Jenkins)
- Experience in creating an automation framework.
- Exposure to DevOps basic terminologies/functionalities is advantage
- Good Debugging skills
- Experience in working with Micro services testing is advantage
