About this role
Lead Engineer – AWS, Java, Microservices, TypeScript, Kafka, Docker/Kubernetes
Experience - 8-12 Years
Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrable experience leading and building scalable microservices and event‑driven applications.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges from design through to production.
- Address technical debt with a pragmatic and commercially focused approach.
- Translate requirements into high‑quality engineering deliverables.
- Deliver reusable, scalable solutions used across teams and products.
- Collaborate across teams and align technical decisions with business goals.
- Expertise in observability and reliability practices using tools such as:
- OpenTelemetry
- Prometheus
- Grafana
- CloudWatch
- Strong understanding of security best practices, including:
- HashiCorp Vault
- AWS Secrets Manager
- Certificate lifecycle management
- Experience with testing methodologies such as TDD and BDD, and automation frameworks.
- Ability to design and implement data‑intensive, distributed architectures including APIs, microservices, event-driven designs, and serverless patterns.
- Knowledge of deployment strategies and SRE principles.
- Interest or experience in AI/ML technologies and emerging engineering tools.
