About this role
Experience: 4–7 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain native Android applications (Kotlin/Java) using clean architecture and strong test coverage.
- Contribute to end‑to‑end delivery, including coding, testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and production support.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion code reviews, engineering quality standards, and best practices.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
- Integrate Android applications securely and efficiently with backend APIs.
- Contribute to mobile strategy, architecture discussions, and internal tech guilds.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in Android mobile development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Kotlin / Java
- Jetpack Compose
- MVVM architecture
- Coroutines
- Gradle
- Instrumentation testing
- Strong proficiency with Git/GitFlow and mobile CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with UI automation, performance testing, and profiling.
- Strong understanding of secure coding, performance optimization, and Android‑specific best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Dual‑platform experience (Android + iOS).
- Experience with mobile analytics or crash reporting tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics).
- Experience in the banking or fintech domain.
- Exposure to hybrid architectures, WebViews, or JS‑bridge integrations.
