Your daily mission will include:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Feature Implementation:</strong> Build and refine features for the SyncVR Treatment Manager using <strong>Kotlin</strong> and <strong>Jetpack Compose</strong>, ensuring a seamless interface for clinicians.</li> <li><strong>Hardware Integration &amp; Optimization:</strong> Profile and optimize app performance and tablet ecosystems to ensure low-latency, &quot;nausea-free&quot; experiences.</li> <li><strong>Modular Architecture:</strong> Contribute to a clean codebase with various external services and APIs.</li> <li><strong>Deployment Pipeline:</strong> Support the lifecycle of our apps from local builds to remote deployment across hundreds of hospital-managed devices, alongside a senior Android lead (&gt;10yrs experience).</li> <li><strong>Collaborative Problem Solving:</strong> Work closely with our XR Unity developers to ensure the Android &quot;wrapper&quot; and the VR &quot;core&quot; communicate flawlessly.</li> <li><strong>Platform Focus:</strong> You will support the SyncVR Treatment Manager, ensuring smooth app launches and performance on XR headset and tablet hardware.</li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Android Development Experience:</strong> You’ve spent 1–3 years building Android apps and enjoy contributing to projects that make a real impact.</li> <li><strong>Strong Technical Foundation:</strong> With a Computer Science or related degree, you understand software architecture and best practices, giving you the tools to build robust, scalable apps.</li> <li><strong>Kotlin Proficiency:</strong> You write clean, maintainable Kotlin code and embrace modern Android patterns to create smooth, reliable user experiences.</li> <li><strong>Real-World Production Experience:</strong> You’ve worked in mobile agencies, startups, or software houses, and you know what it takes to deliver polished apps that users love.</li> </ul> <h2 id="benefits">Benefits</h2> <ul> <li><strong>Meaningful Impact:</strong> Build XR apps that directly improve patient care and healthcare training.
