Job Description:

Role Summary/Purpose: 

This role reports to the VP, Dental Sales Leader and will lead a field sales team who are responsible for increasing CareCredit usage and Credit Submissions within their assigned regional area of the country. This role will hire, mentor, coach, counsel, co-travel, and train a team of Metro & Area Practice Development Managers (PDMs). Role works directly with the VP, Dental Sales Leader, to execute sales strategies within a specified region. 

The Dental industry PDMs are located across the Southeast region and include both Metro and Area PDMs and must live within the specific region of responsibility. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a regional field sales team of Metro & Area Practice Development Managers to ensure the execution of national and regional sales/marketing initiatives. 

  • Coach/mentor field sales team externally, through monthly one-on-ones and evaluate them based on a benchmark measurement system. 

  • Responsible for increasing usage (amount financed per provider) and driving applications across portfolio. 

  • Conduct virtual and physical co-travels with Practice Development Managers according to standards and expectations 

  • Assist in implementing effective measures and reward systems with the field sales team. 

  • Implement strategies/tactics/best practices with field sales team to drive usage. 

  • Assist the VP, Dental Sales Leader of Industry Sales in implementing systems management to utilize field sales team time to increase usage, drive applications, integrate products, maximize provider visits and keep expenses under budget. 

  • Partner with various departments, including marketing and operations, to develop materials and systems to increase Practice Development Manager productivity and practice usage. 

  • Work in the field monitoring, measuring and gathering voice of the customer. 

  • Provide value added analysis & reporting for assigned region and identify and implement ways to increase usage through Salesforce relationship software. 

  • Work closely with relevant industry leadership to efficiently deploy Practice Development Manager support campaigns and priorities. 

  • Partner with the Tradeshow Team to ensure proper coverage for region support of trade shows, industry leadership meetings and other events that aid with driving revenue and provider relationships. 

  • Effectively manage team travel and expenses to ensure company guidelines are met. 

  • Lead team efforts to support industry trade shows. 

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales; or in lieu of Degree, a High School Diploma/GED and 10+years of experience in Financial Services and/or outside sales 

  • Minimum of 2 years of territory sales/marketing experience with a track record of results. 

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, developing, mentoring and coaching sales professionals. 

  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, overnight and some weekend travel 

  • Work from home but must be located within, or willing to relocate to the region which includes the following states: Georgia/Florida.  

Desired Characteristics: 

  • Healthcare, Sales, Finance, Marketing experience. 

  • Two years of experience working in a dental or medical practice setting, particularly in an influencing role. 

  • Private Label Sales and Marketing experience. Finance business/industry acumen. 

  • Two years of experience in a sales leadership role – building and growing teams, driving sales and client development metrics and imperatives. 

  • Excellent client relationship skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication skills. 

  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs. 

  • Customer focused mindset with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs. Strong interpersonal communication skills (written, oral, non-verbal). 

  • Proven ability to work remotely and independently. 

  • Strong strategic planning skills 

  • Experience with CRM & Sales Analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau 

Grade/Level: 12

                                                            

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
