POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As a member of Symetri's Construction Technology team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how construction firms plan, design, and deliver projects. The Construction Technology Specialist will play a key role in helping construction firms improve their project planning, design, and delivery by introducing Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) technologies and other Symetri products. This position involves delivering customer-facing demonstrations, ensuring software aligns with client business goals, and supporting the entire project lifecycle. The position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the success of the construction industry's digital transformation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Acquiring and maintaining a deep, working knowledge of the Autodesk Construction Cloud suite of offerings and adjacent stand-alone Autodesk Construction and Design software.
  • Ability to obtain customers' business objectives and map a strategy consisting of software and professional services that align with those objectives.
  • Prepare and present technical pre-sales demonstrations of Autodesk Construction Cloud and related design and construction technology products spanning multiple phases of a typical construction lifecycle, including preconstruction, VDC, field execution, closeout, and handover.
  • Assist the PMO and sales teams with the development of ROMs and SOWs as needed.
  • Provide training, implementation, mentoring, and support for ACC and other Autodesk design and construction offerings.
  • Evangelize, enable, and assist teams across TeamD3/Symetri with construction opportunities spanning various industries.
  • Possess an understanding of our integration and custom development capabilities and be able to articulate those offerings to prospects and clients.
  • Establish long-term, mutually beneficial, trusted-advisor relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams from TeamD3/Symetri.
  • Attend and/or present at construction-related industry events as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Build positive relationships with Autodesk Construction technical teams.
  • Assist sales in identifying new and growing existing services engagements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be proficient with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and related Autodesk software.
  • Familiarity with construction practices, processes, and technology in both field and office settings, including preconstruction, field execution, and project management operations.
  • Experience preparing and delivering technical pre-sales demonstrations and aligning solutions with customer business objectives.
  • 3-5 years of field or office experience with a medium-to-large General Contractor, Subcontractor, or other construction-related organization.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and adjacent Autodesk software.
  • Exposure to competitive project management software, such as Procore, is a plus.
